I
was born
in
Esbjerg, Denmark.
Went
to school at Stormgade
and later Graadyb. After
I left school from 8th.
I
went to sea, sailing on DFDS
m/s Colombia
First
ports I visited were
G'dynia and Leningrad (
now Skt. Petersburg )
Thereafter
Brazil ( Rio ) Urugay
and Argentina A
great experience which I
shall never forget. unfortunately
I have no photographs
from then
Later
I became a soldier in
the marine, stationedat
Lynetten by Copenhagen
After
the
marine I
went fishing, by sea-net
and trawler.
Until
fishing became too poor,
and too many
restrictions came
from
E U. And see, today they
are closing triple 999, the
biggest fish industri
firm in Denmark, not
good for
the town and harbour.
Now only 8 out of 800fisher
boats are left in
Esbjerg.
I
then worked one year at
Arovit pet food
factory,and after
that,
I got employed at the
slaugterhouse Vestjysk Slagteri.
I
worked there for 12
years, until I
unfortunately in the
year 2000 had to stop
because of a bad
shoulder. After
many doctor and hospital
examinations, I
finally got my early
retirement in 2002.
I don't missmy
work, but from time to
time my colleauges, one
quicklyfeels
outside common - life, when
you don't workany longer.
Now
I have entered the
exiting world of the
computer, beeing
helped by 2 lovely
friends.
